Duan Huang, M.D., Ph.D., received a Ph.D. degree from the school of medicine, Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, in addition to his M.D. degree. Dr. Huang studied Medical Acupuncture for Physicians at UCLA, as well as Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture during his medical school in China. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a certified physician acupuncturist.
Dr. Huang keeps very close contact with colleagues in Shanghai Acupuncture Academy. As he always believes that western and oriental medicine are like the two wings of a bird, when both fully communicate, complement and cooperate, then it will be possible to give the best in medical treatment along with acupuncture.
